much information指的是多种不同的信息,比如关于我们说电脑能存储很多信息,资料等,这时我们要说much information而不是more information
而more information则指的是同一件事情的更多信息,即:为了更好的了解某件事情而问的更详细些的意思.如:我想去日本留学,请针对日本的生活条件,费用等给出更多的相关信息.这时我们就要用I need more information 而不是much information
在此特说明一下,much information和 more information两个词都存在,而且都正确,无论大家是是否记得曾经听过.

information 译为:信息、消息。是名词。不能用more修饰。more修饰形容词。
much 译为：很、非常。这里做形容词。修饰不可数名词information.

more 比较多（有比较级的时候，比如你和他拿信息量来比较时）
much 很多（一般的说法，很多）

只听过 much more information 和 more information
前者是还要多的信息，后者是更多的信息。
