I asked my English teacher this morning, “How do you learn Chinese when you were a child? Think about it, and you’ll find the answer.”
I cannot recall how I studied my native language, but I still remember the way my little cousin learned to speak. He listened to what people said and tried to imitate what he had heard. At two or three years old, he could express himself in simple language. Now, he is five years old, he can speak more perfectly. He is using language, thinking in it and talking in it all the time.
I understand if I use English all the time, it won’t seem so difficult. I will learn it quickly. It’s the best way to learn a foreign language.

The best way to study enlish is to use it.
First you'll need to read articles aloud, so as to correct your pronunciation and build sense of language.
Second, listen to native speakers as much as possible (you can try BBC & VOA, but you may also try Easy FM on 87.9 in Shanghai). You can also try watching the same Vedio, without subtitle, again and again, until you can make out most of the conversations.
Then, find yourself some interesting enlish novals or magazines to read.
Finally, find some native speakers to practice your oral english.
keep using English (listen, read and speak) at least 3 hours per day for 1 year, your enlish will be improved. The best way to learn English is to reach a sound state that

English is very important subjecj at school so we should learn it well.Learning English just like learning other language, is hard work so I spend lots of time on it every day. I listen to the teacher carefully,review what is learned regularly, prepare each lesson carefully before class, do our homework carefully, copy good sentences and recite them and attend English debbates and speech contests. What's more,I often listen to English programs and read English magazines and books. When I make mistakes I often correct them at once. I like asking others for help when I have difficulties. I believe" practice makes perfect". I am sure if I study hard, I will learn English well
